Unlike ordinary “outlet timers", which can only control devices from an outlet, Magic Finger can control any standard wall switch. And unlike complicated, expensive hard-wired units, it easily attaches to any switch in less than a minute.

It is self-contained and portable, and while it can still operate a switched outlet, it can also control ceiling fixtures and outdoor lights – something no “outlet timer” can do.
